bugrabom

6 am my personal portable battery-powered alarm clock sings for me
but i can't hear 'cause i'm not anywhere near and never will i be
if you could be here i'll tell you what you'd find
same old thing there's noone around here in my town
on my street or any street in any town
there's not a soul outside nor hiding behind any door

where have they gone you better listen to me
it was a bugrabom which one could it be
we could see it coming for so long
that's why i wrote this song

above the door a plastic drug store mistletoe on elastic swings so low
for never again will human lips embrace below my immortal mistletoe

you could see it coming for so long

how will they ever know that some of us were kind?
how will they ever learn that we were gentle?
and pray what reason might we give to save us?
and who will represent us? and who'll be left to know?

a bit later on the first day speeds along planet earth sighs
well now everything's fine
nothing but a minor change and now it's nice to be rid of even one parasite
now it's time to give the roaches a try

where have they gone you better listen to me
it was a bugrabom which one could it be
we could see it coming for so long
that's why i wrote this song

you could see it coming for some time
that's what has blown our minds

More to come.
